Penn State will get an early kickoff for its Nov. 1 visit to Ohio State.

The Nittany Lions and Buckeyes will kick off at noon in The Horseshoe with the the game airing on FOX, the Big Ten announced on Monday. It will be Penn State’s second noon kickoff of the season and its first to get a Big Noon broadcast on FOX.

Coming off their fourth consecutive loss with a 25-24 defeat at Iowa in their first game under interim head coach Terry Smith, Penn State will be looking to regroup with a bye this week before traveling to Columbus.

Getting back in the win column will be a tall task for the reeling Nittany Lions. Ranked No. 1 in the nation and also on a bye this week, Ohio State is 7-0 after a 34-0 drubbing of Wisconsin on Saturday.

The Buckeyes have won the last eight meetings with Penn State and the Nittany Lions last won in Columbus in 2011 — coincidentally, also with an interim head coach, Tom Bradley, at the helm.
